We started this project around 2010, when Dave and I were kickin' it real thorough and working like madmen - we did Hot Mess, Shake and Identify - and started some others - and then stopped. We put it down for a while, then when Studies in Hunger needed to be re-released in 2013, it was a no-brainer to finish up and attack the whole jawn. It took a LOT longer than both of us thought. We ended up sprinkling a lot of salt and pepper - and hot sauce - but it turned into a completely different record - a more polished sound than the original dusty vibes hooked up by P.
